In keeping with Brian Feist theme of Fire Central related incidents, July 3, 1977 – Church Grove Elementary School fire. The building was located at the intersection of Scalp Avenue and Route 219, a familiar site, as it would later become home to the current Headquarters of the Richland Township Fire Department. Looks like the initial alarm was Stations 2, 1, 3, 8, and 16. Later into the incident, Engine 12-1 and Rescue 52 were added for additional air. This Fire was ruled arson.
